The distinctive design appeal of coloured concrete.

Bring a bold architectural edge to your home with PeterFell coloured concrete.

Thinking beyond the obvious ensured this home, by Gudsell Builders, on the edge of Tauranga Harbour would make a lasting impression — albeit for the way it subtly sits in its surrounds. Its strong exterior concrete walls are coloured with PeterFell 699 Black; the colour and texture of the concrete cleverly working to emulate the bark of a pōhutukawa tree. PeterFell PFL Natural Sealer and PFL Satin Sealer were also used on the outer walls.

Another layer of textural interest is the use of PeterFell Texture Safe Bush Hammer on the stairs and deck at the front of the house.

The darkest shade of black that concrete can go.

At 227sqm, this three-bedroom home has a modern and elegant warmth to it as the connection with nature continues throughout the interiors.

Golden-hued, light hemlock walls and ceilings are balanced by the soft sheen of concrete floors coloured with PeterFell 675, and provide an easy-living connection with the stunning views across the water.

Textured concrete walls and smooth polished floors bring sculptural strength, while timber features and wool rugs soften every space.

The play of raw and refined materials creates a home that feels grounded, tactile and quietly luxurious — inside and out.
